Basilica Maria Radna a fost gazda unui nou concert de orgă susținut vineri 15.07.2022 de către organistul Totosy Norbert.

Născut pe 22 septembrie 1993 în Comuna Baciu de langă Cluj-Napoca,a învățat să cânte la orgă de la vârsta fragedă de 7 ani. A studiat apoi la Liceul de Muzică “Sigismund Todoruță “ din Cluj Napoca, după care a urmat Liceul Teologic Romano Catolic “ Grof Majlath Gusztav Karoly “ din Alba Iulia, înscriindu-se după aceea la clasa de dirijat al conf. univ. dr. Ciprian Para din cadrul Academiei Naționale de muzică “Gheorghe Dima din Cluj Napoca.
Chiar dacă poate pentru noi este mai puțin cunoscut, acesta a mai susținut concerte de orgă în România, Republica Moldova, Ungaria și Slovacia.
În prezent este dirijor și organist în cadrul Bisericii Romano Catolice “Sfânta Treime” din Bistrita, dar si profesor de pian la Liceul de Muzică “Tudor Jarda” din același oraș.
Un lucru poate mai puțin cunoscut dar demn de admirație este faptul că în anul 2020 a participat el însuși la restaurarea orgii din Biserica Romano-Catolică “Sfânta Treime” din Bistrița împreună cu restauratorul de orgi Pozsar Robert. Orga de aici a fost construită de constructorul de orgi Angster Jozsef din Pecs, Ungaria (acesta are 1300 de orgi construite pe întregul teriotriul fostului Imperiu Austro-Ungar), în anul 1912, sub numarul de opus 822. Are 9 registre, 2 copule, un rând de claviatură și pedală. Mecanismul orgii este de tip pneumatic, la fel ca cel de la Maria Radna. Ultima reparație capitală a fost făcută în urmă cu 20-25 de ani de o echipa de restauratori din Germania. După terminarea restaurării Totosy Norbert a fost primul care a testat orga, susținând un concert de Crăciun transmis online pe data de 17 decembrie 2020.
Concertul sustinut vineri 15.07.2022, a fost organizat la Basislica Maria Radna din Lipova, de însuși Totosy Norbert, aceasta având deosebita plăcere de a-i fi gazdă și de a-i pune la dispoziție orga din cadrul mănăstirii.
Fiind întrebat ce l-a determinat să organizeze concertul la Radna, acesta a răspuns: ”Au fost selectate mai multe locații pe criteriul orgilor, orga de la Radna fiind o orgă foarte frumoasă, (Orga a fost realizată, în anul 1905, de firma ‘Leopold Wegenstein & Fiii’, una dintre cele mai renumite din acei ani) am auzit de ea de la fostul meu professor de la Liceul Teologic din clasele IX-XII, Rancu Boris care mi-a povestit despre ea, și mi-am spus că merită încercat. Un alt motiv a fost faptul că acustica este foarte bună, seamană cu cea din Biserica Sfânta Treime din Bistrița, însă Basilica Maria Radna este mult mai frumoasă”.
Chiar dacă din cauza căldurii au fost întâmpinate mici probleme, lucru normal pentru o orgă pneumatică, concertul susținut a fost unul de exceptie, fiind interpretate arii precum:
